Hits List: America

This group, formed by sons of military servicemen, seemed to cross the barrier between the typical potential "soft rock" audience and the mainstream.  Whether it be because of their amazing harmonies, better lyrics, quality of songwriting, or whatever, America became without question one of The Top Artists of the 1970's and of all-time.  Here is their complete Hits List:

That's 18 hits for America in their career, but their albums are generally solid, especially in the early to mid-70's.  The group had seven Top 10 hits and two #1's.  On the Adult Contemporary chart, the trio had 18 hits with 11 of those going Top 10 and three #1's.
