Did You Know?

When Herman's Hermits recorded "Mrs. Brown You've Got A Lovely Daughter", they did it in two takes, and never released it as a single in Great Britain.  The tune was already well known in Britain and played often at birthday parties, where the name of the girl being celebrated would be substituted, such as "Mrs. Hall" or "Mrs. Barnes", instead of "Mrs. Brown".
